Four steps from your first message to a filed return. You can complete every step in person in Brea or entirely remotely from anywhere in the country.
1. Upload Documents
Send your W-2s, 1099s, and supporting documents through our secure upload, or bring them to the office in Brea. We will tell you exactly what is missing.
2. Review Return
We prepare your return, then walk through it with you line by line so you understand your refund or balance before anything is submitted.
3. File Securely
Once you approve it, we e-file your federal and state returns and confirm they were accepted.
4. Receive Completion
You receive your confirmation and a copy of your completed return for your records, plus year-round access to us if questions come up.
What to have ready
Not everything applies to everyone. Send what you have and we will let you know if anything else is needed.
- Photo ID and Social Security numbers for everyone on the return
- W-2s, 1099s, and any other income statements
- Business income and expense records, if self-employed
- Mortgage interest, property tax, or rental property statements
- Last year's tax return, if you have a copy
- Bank routing and account numbers for direct deposit
